Stan (Sr.) and Stan (Jr.) Wojtaszek are a father and son photography team from Northwestern Ontario. Both were born and raised in Balmertown, ON., a small mining community. We subsequently relocated to Dryden in 2001.
Stan Sr. received his first camera at the age of twelve and began a life long journey with the craft. Stan Jr. began at the age of eight but it took another fourteen years before he was seriously infected by the bite of the shutter bug.
Long time residents of the north, we developed a love of the outdoors and an appreciation for the diversity mother nature provides. Photography became a natural extension of our vision; a vehicle for us to capture what we see and a means of sharing those images with others.
Sometimes it's the vista that moves us, other times it's just a small fraction of the whole.
Beauty and nature surround each and every one of us. All we have to do is stop, look, listen, and above all, enjoy.
